A shining long-life carreer has brought Ronnie all over the world touring with legends of rock, pop and soul, until he decides to live in Italy where he founds success as dj in the Tv Show back in the ‘80s “Pop Corn”. Two special projects: Ronnie Jones and The Soul Syndacate and Ray Charles Memories.
Ronnie Jones is an Italian-based, American-born R&B, blues and disco singer.
Jones first came to Europe with the United States Air Force. He started his career in England, where he joined the first incarnation of the Blues Incorporated with Alexis Korner, Jack Bruce, Cyril Davis, Johnny Parker and Ginger Baker. He later formed a band called The Nightimers with John McLaughlin, before moving to Italy to join the cast of the local production of Hair. He then performed with artists such as Claudia Barry and Cooper Terry, and had a hit in the Italian charts with Funky Bump (Atlantic, 1976).
In the 1970s and the 1980s Jones worked as a musician, DJ and TV host at RAI and Radio 105 Network. From 1980 to 1985 he hosted the TV show Popcorn. The theme, "Video Games", charted #28 on the Italian hit parade.
In 1988 he wrote the song Bambino Io, Bambino Tu for Zucchero.
Jones currently resides in Italy and tours regularly with his band, The Soul Syndicate.

Classe 1937, nato a Springfield nel Massachusetts, Ronnie Jones si fa conoscere in Italia negli anni 60' prima grazie al brano "Rock Your Baby" e poi come attore di teatro entrando nel cast del musical "Hair" insieme a due giovanissimi Loredana Bertè e Renato Zero.
La sua storia musicale si intreccia con quella del produttore Alexis Korner fondatore dei Blues Incorporated, autentica fucina e factory di leggende del rock e del blues, dove si alterano nomi come Mick Jagger, Ginger Baker,Rod Steward, e lo stesso Ronnie Jones che si fa largo incidendo per la prima volta nella sua vita The Night Time Is The Right Time di Ray Charles e Drifters' Money Honey.
Stabilitosi in Italia lavora con Renzo Arbore e Gianni Boncompagni per la Rai, per Canale 5 nel programma "Pop Corn" e a Buona Domenica con Maurizio Costanzo in veste di dj-showman.
La sua versatilità come artista lo ha reso un musicista sempre longevo e al passo con i tempi. Dal 1980 ad oggi ha fatto parte di ben tre diverse band (Blues After Dark, Seven40, The Soul Syndicate), come compositore ha scritto piu di 200 canzoni collaborando con artisti del calibro di Zucchero Fornaciari. Nel 2011 è uscito il suo ultimo album "Bang" e ha realizzato il prestigioso progetto Ray Charles Memories esibendosi al fianco di una big bang composta da quasi 20 elementi.
Un artista e un testimone vivente degli indimenticabili anni 60' e non solo, che ha regalato nella sua imponente e variegata carriera artistica spessore e rilevanza a tutti i generi musicali, dal blues sino alla disco music degli anni 80'
